LF 2010 Liepsna - Annual Report

The 2011 Liepsna, which includes the 2010 annual report of the Lithuanian Foundation, including greetings and committee reports from the LF leadership, was published in advance of the May, 2011 Annual LF Members meeting, which was held in Lemont, Illinois.

In his letter to LF Members, Board Chairman Rimas Griskelis writes:

From generation to generation the LF flame continues to burn, and the Foundation’s 50th anniversary is rapidly approaching. The anniversary will occur on March 12, 2012, therefore, before the 2012 annual members’ meeting. Planning for the occasion has already begun, and we anticipate it will be a very special affair commemorating the Foundation’s long history and reflecting upon its numerous accomplishments. Nearly 8,000 members have contributed a total approaching $20,000,000 during that time, and well over $14,000,000 have been distributed in grants for education, youth programs, cultural and other similar projects.
